Site-down and checkout-down incidents are treated as urgent and started as soon as we have access; non-urgent requests are scheduled within the working week. Because monitoring alerts reach a person rather than an inbox, we are often already working on an outage before anyone on your side has noticed it.

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We start with an audit — hosting, backups, plugin health, security posture, performance and whatever documentation exists — then give you a short written summary with anything urgent flagged. Occasionally we find something that should be fixed before a plan starts, in which case you get an estimate for that separately rather than having it absorbed silently.

We take the site off the public internet or into maintenance mode to stop further harm, restore from the most recent clean backup, then find the entry point before putting it back — restoring without that step just resets the clock. After recovery we rotate credentials, patch the vulnerability, submit for removal from any blocklists, and send you a written account of what happened and what changed. Sites on a plan are far less likely to be affected, because most compromises exploit a known flaw in outdated software.

Both. Our managed hosting includes SSL, caching, a Cloudflare CDN, daily off-site backups and a staging site you can safely break — and you keep ownership of your domain and DNS regardless. If you already have hosting you are happy with, we will work with it. If it is actively causing the problems we are being asked to fix, we will show you why rather than simply insisting you move.

Tested. A backup that has never been restored is an assumption, and the failure is only discovered at the worst possible moment. We keep backups off-site, separate from the hosting account, so a compromised or lost server does not take the recovery path with it, and we periodically restore to staging to confirm the whole process works — including the database, not only the files.

Yes. Plans run month to month with no long lock-in, and you can move up or down a tier as your needs change. If you leave, you leave with everything: the site, the database, the backups and the credentials. We would rather keep clients because the service is worth paying for than because the exit is inconvenient.

Yes, and we treat them differently from brochure sites because the risk is different. Store updates are applied on staging first and the full checkout is tested — cart, payment, tax, shipping and order confirmation — before anything reaches production, since a broken checkout costs money by the hour. We also schedule work outside your peak trading times and avoid non-urgent changes during seasonal peaks entirely.
