The Challenge

One Electrical Contractor Had to Speak to Three Very Different Buyers

GSE One serves industrial facilities, commercial properties, and homes, but those customers do not evaluate electrical contractors in the same way. The website needed to communicate broad capability without forcing every visitor through a generic service list.

  • One trade serves three different decision-makersPlant managers, property teams, and homeowners arrive with different risks, priorities, and vocabulary.
  • Industrial buyers evaluate operational riskThey need evidence of capability across machinery, power distribution, automation, maintenance, and breakdown response.
  • Commercial work depends on planning and continuityBusiness owners and property managers look for fit-out, lighting, cabling, backup power, and code-compliance expertise.
  • Homeowners need clarity without trade jargonPanel upgrades, rewiring, EV charging, smart controls, repairs, and inspections must be easy to understand.
  • Experience is stronger when the work is visibleA broad service claim needs authentic completed-project evidence and an obvious way to make contact.

Project Overview

A New Website Built Around How Each Customer Searches

Saiftec planned, designed, and developed a new WordPress website that separates the three primary audiences while keeping GSE One’s experience, completed work, and contact routes connected across the journey.

New website built from scratch

  • Three audience journeysIndustrial, commercial, and residential visitors each get a dedicated starting point.
  • Service depth by sectorEach page explains the work, use cases, and priorities relevant to that buyer.
  • Shared project proofOne visual gallery supports trust across all three customer groups.
  • Direct contact routesPhone and contact actions remain visible for urgent and planned enquiries.

Our Solution

Each Audience Gets the Detail It Needs to Act

The site routes visitors by customer type, then gives each group relevant services, language, proof, and next steps. Shared navigation and contact patterns keep the experience consistent without flattening the differences between sectors.

View the Live Website
  • Audience-led information architectureThe main navigation separates industrial, commercial, and residential needs before service detail begins.
  • Industrial capability organised around uptimeInstallations, machinery hookups, panels, controls, maintenance, inspections, and breakdown repairs form one focused path.
  • Commercial services framed around operationsFit-outs, lighting, cabling, backup power, maintenance, and code corrections are presented in business terms.
  • Residential services written for homeownersThe site explains wiring, panels, lighting, troubleshooting, smart-home systems, EV chargers, and safety checks clearly.
  • Proof and contact shared across every pathA common project gallery, click-to-call action, and contact page help visitors move from evaluation to conversation.

Outcomes

A Clearer Route From Electrical Need to First Contact

  • Visitors can self-select fasterEach customer group reaches a page written around its property type, concerns, and electrical work.
  • Service breadth is easier to evaluateDetailed sector pages replace a single generic list with specific capabilities and use cases.
  • Completed work reinforces the claimsThe shared gallery gives every audience visual evidence of residential, commercial, and industrial experience.
  • The next step stays closeVisible phone and contact routes support both urgent calls and planned project enquiries across devices.
The Challenge
The same electrician serves a factory, an office block and a semi-detached house, and almost nothing about those three jobs is alike. A plant manager is thinking about downtime and machinery hookups. A homeowner is thinking about a panel, and whether the work gets inspected. Put both on one services page and each of them reads mostly words meant for the other.
  • One trade, three entirely different buyers
  • A plant manager is thinking about downtime
  • A homeowner is thinking about panels and permits
  • One services page speaks clearly to nobody
  • Emergency callers do not read pages at all
  • Thirty years of work needs showing, not stating
  • Safety and compliance are the deciding questions

A Look at the Finished Work

Our Solution
Three pages, one for each buyer. The industrial page talks about motor control, preventative maintenance and breakdown response; commercial and residential are written in their own terms. Underneath, a single project gallery and one set of answers serve all three, because photographs of finished work and questions about permits do not need splitting up.
  • An industrial page for plant managers
  • A commercial page in its own language
  • A residential page written for homeowners
  • One project gallery shared by all three
  • One set of answers on permits and inspections
  • Two phone numbers held in the header
  • Machinery hookups and control systems named
  • Preventative maintenance listed on its own

  • Three audiences

    A page for each buyer

  • One gallery

    Finished work, shared

  • Permits answered

    One set of answers

  • Two numbers

Outcomes

What Changed After Launch

  • Each buyer reads their own page

A plant manager, a property manager and a homeowner land on pages written in their own terms rather than sharing one services list.

  • Thirty years is shown

A single project gallery carries the finished work, which persuades all three audiences better than a sentence about experience.

  • Compliance is covered once

One set of answers deals with the permit and inspection questions every buyer has, so nobody rings simply to find that out.

  • The urgent caller is served

Both numbers sit in the header of every page, because an electrical emergency is a telephone call and never a form.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Saiftec build a contractor website for multiple customer types?

Yes. We can organise the website around distinct audiences—such as industrial facilities, commercial properties, and homeowners—so each visitor reaches relevant services and proof without navigating an oversized generic list.

How should industrial, commercial, and residential electrical services be organised?

A clear approach is to give each customer group its own service path, then keep shared trust signals, project evidence, and contact actions consistent. This helps visitors recognise fit while preserving one coherent brand.

Can an electrical contractor website showcase project photos on mobile?

Yes. Responsive image sizes and layouts can keep authentic project photography useful on smaller screens without forcing visitors to download unnecessarily large desktop files.

Can phone and contact actions remain easy to reach on mobile?

Yes. Click-to-call links, clear contact details, and prominent enquiry actions can be placed throughout the mobile journey so urgent and planned enquiries both have an obvious next step.

Can the contractor update services and project examples after launch?

Yes. A WordPress build can keep core service pages, project imagery, FAQs, and contact information editable so the website can evolve as the contractor’s capabilities and portfolio grow.

Can Saiftec support the website after it launches?

Yes. Ongoing support can cover WordPress maintenance, content updates, troubleshooting, and future enhancements based on the contractor’s operational needs.
